February 4th, Squamish BC.

Another cloudy day of photos in Squamish.  Started off the day at Shannon Falls, I did not stay there very long, as I wanted to make my way to Paradise Valley.

In Paradise Valley near Fergie’s Cafe (amazing food and caesars…), I stopped at the Cheakamus River to catch some photos of juvenile Bald Eagles. Found a few Eagles, one took flight as soon as I was ready to take shots.

Further down Paradise Valley road there is a walk through the rain forest. There is something special about the air here, it just feels pure. This forest, like most on the coast before logging, was home to giants.

There are two giants still standing here, a couple of Red Cedars. Both of them stand firmly planted with a +10ft diameter base.  Trees like these are jaw dropping, the Cedar I was taking pictures of is surprisingly healthy.
